Filled with inland lakes and golf courses, the area offers spectacular natural beauty and was once the prime getaway for Detroit residents. Today, Commerce Township has a population of just over 40,000 residents and still growing.
Real estate in Commerce Township can actually lie within a number of neighborhoods and incorporated areas. You’ll find Wolverine Lake, a small village within the larger township, while Commerce, Oakley Park and Glengary are identifiable areas with their own character, but are not incorporated villages.

Bicentennial Park offers almost 10 acres of amenities right across the street from the Township Hall, while Dodge Park #5 provides over 100 acres of beautiful woodlands and hills to explore. There are two school districts that serve the township – Walled Lake Consolidated Schools and Huron Valley School District. It’s undergone significant revitalization over the past few years and is a thriving area filled with independent shops, eateries and much more to enjoy.
